An accomplished speaker, trainer and project manager, Yolanda exemplifies the Blue Zones Project philosophy. She has an extensive background in wellness, most recently as the Assistant Director of Wellness/Professional Development for MHMR of Tarrant County. In addition to leading the organization’s wellness initiatives, she facilitated its leadership academy, addressing such topics as conflict resolution, strengths assessment, and enhanced communication. For the past five years, Yolanda has simultaneously served as owner and instructor with Fit&40 Crew, a total-body outdoor fitness boot camp-style workout program that strives to promote lifestyle change through fitness. Her career also includes past positions with New York Life Insurance Company, the Center for Biomedical Continuing Education, and Galderma Laboratories. She holds a BA degree in Communication from Dallas Baptist University,is a Certified Conflict Mediator, and currently serves on the board of the Fort Worth Metropolitan Black Chamber of Commerce.
