Kimberly moved to Fort Worth as a “trailing spouse” but quickly made north Fort Worth her home. She is an active local member of the American Society for Training and Development Association For Talent Development, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. North Central Texas Alumnae Chapter, and Prairie View A&M Alumni Association. She brings a wealth of expertise from her previous role as Manager of the St. Louis Community College, a “green” urban satellite campus. In that role, she analyzed community needs, initiated innovate workforce development programming, and built relevant partnerships with corporations, universities, non-profit organizations and area businesses. Prior to that, she was Program Manager for the Harambee Ombudsman Project, designing a grassroots participatory strategic plan that resulted in new affordable housing and mixed-use development with a key focus on providing fresh food, quality education and job training to underserved markets. She holds a master’s degree in adult education.
